Initiated by the Hungarian Folk High School Society and supported by the European Association for the Education of Adults (EAEA), the first International Adult Educators’ Day in Hungary will be held on 24 January 2026, in connection with the UN-designated International Day of Education.
The event will take place in an online format, with multiple parallel programmes organised by various institutions and organisations. These events will showcase the diversity, innovation and societal importance of adult education.
The central event is organised by the Hungarian Folk High School Society and its partners.
