Platform for the Professionalisation of Adult Educators and Trainers in Hungary
The Hungarian Academy of Sciences (Pedagogical Scientific Committee’s Andragogy Subcommittee) will hold its first public session of the spring period on March 19, 2025. The central topic of the meeting will be the current landscape and challenges of adult education in Hungary, with a special focus on the latest results of the OECD PIAAC 2024 survey.
At the end of November, the first Swiss-Hungarian forum on adult learning and education was organised by the online professional portal ProfAdul and SwissCcham Hungary (Swiss-Hungarian Chamber of Commerce).
A brief (approximately 15 minutes) video in English with subtitles outlines the quality assurance (EDUQUA) and train the trainer system (TOT) in place for Swiss trainers.
From 2025, a six-session training programme for family carers of people with dementia will be launched under the auspices of the Modus Academy. The programme will combine face-to-face training with online learning, making it flexible to the adult participants’ schedules.
